The Georgia Recorder has published an excellent voter guide for Georgia citizens. It not only covers the “big ticket,” highly publicized offices like governor, the U.S. Congress, the GA state legislature. It also provides details on the contests for the important but less publicized offices like those for Labor and Insurance Commissioners, Attorney General, etc. And, of course, the two seats on the Public Service Commission, the outcome of which will determine whether the Democratic or Republican Party has the majority vote in determining our electricity rates. Plus, the PSC has a role in shaping the future of those huge data centers being proposed for Georgia. The guide also discusses the pros and cons behind the three Amendments on the ballot.
