Non-Republican Americans long ago ceased to believe Trump's Republicans would have an epiphany and make a break with the lies, racism, xenophobia, and misogyny exemplified by Trump's every word and deed. On the contrary, most Americans have said, no matter how bad things are, far worse is yet to come. They have been proven right as Trump's main agenda continues to be his Big Lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen, and, therefore, the Jan 6 insurrection at the Capitol and the multi-dimensional efforts to overturn the 2020 results were entirely justified.

During the same week that House Republicans, acting on Trump's directive, selected one of the most aggressive election deniers as Speaker, two of Trump's own lawyers pleaded guilty to making false claims about stolen votes and/or attempting to arrange for false electors to cast vote reversing the lawful election returns.
But just think. Republicans are so deep into Trump's immoral sewer, the worst is yet to come.
