Three patriarchs of Georgia Republicans–Senators Johnny Isakson and David Perdue, and Rep. Barry Loudermilk–not only remain staunch supporters of the presidency of Donald Trump, they are eagerly supporting his re-election. IndieDems believes their loyalty to Trump should be duly noted and highlighted, by simply providing the headlines of Trump’s acts, with minimal commentary, knowing that whatever Trump has done, the three stooges support him.
Second Facebook Group with Derogatory and lewd Content Revealed, Linked to Customs and Border Control Personnel
“On Friday, another Facebook group of apparent CBP personnel surfaced, revealing even more posts containing insensitive, derogatory and lewd content. The page, called “the Real CBP Nation,” was first reported by CNN and has about 1,000 members. The outlet did not review the group but did obtain images of it and images posted there, including jokes about migrant deaths and more memes attacking Ocasio-Cortez.”
“A Facebook spokesperson told The Washington Post that the company had removed several posts to that group because they violated policies on bullying and harassment, cruel and insensitive content, and sexual exploitation of adults. Facebook did not ban the group.”
The three stooges: Lewdness, slander, insults, bigotry, misogyny, trash talk—how gratifying to see CBP people mimicking our President! It’s good to know we have a constituency for us and Donald to continue to pander to. Why, by the time of the 2020 elections, we will have squeezed every ounce of decency out of our politics!
Meanwhile, more stomach-turning revelations about the other CBP-linked Facebook Group:
CBP officials knew about derogatory Facebook group years ago and have investigated posts from it before
- U.S. Customs and Border Protection was aware of the inflammatory Facebook page where alleged Border Patrol agents posted racist, sexist and violent images — and the agency had investigated posts from the group on at least one occasion, an official said.
- Rep. Veronica Escobar (D-Tex.) said on Twitter: “What is profoundly disturbing is that the Border Patrol agents and leadership who posted these heinous things have power over migrants — including vulnerable women and children. This is truly a broken agency in desperate need of complete reform.”
The three stooges: We sleep better at night, knowing that our Republican President panders to and confirms the views of America’s most extreme and vitriolic voters. We are proud to support his re-election, so he can continue to maliciously debase democratic institutions, inflame anti-immigrant and anti-Muslim animus, give comfort to enemies of people of color, detach the United States from its allies, and wrap tyrants in his warm embrace.
