IndieDems.com has long pointed out that Donald Trump’s rise to power and assumption of the presidency was a mirror image of Adolf Hitler’s rise to power as German Chancellor in the 1930s. But now that we’ve lived through two and one-half years of Trump’s rule, it strike us that Trump has proven himself a clone of another former leader: Ugandan President Idi Amin. Every day in every way, Trump shows himself to be an exemplar of a tin-pot, third-world, unfit-for-office dictator aggressively following the model of tribal politics.
We ask our readers. Is Trump more the clone of Hitler or Idi Amin? Or some part of both?
