GOP Mouthpiece: Use Defense Budget as Pork Barrel

//The more unhinged Trump’s statements become, the more GA Republicans rally to his side//

Republicans view the Washington post as second only to the New York Times as a purveyor of “fake news,” meaning, anything that differs with what Republicans think. But two of the Post’s regular columnists, Marc Theissen and Hugh Hewitt, are gushing supporters of Donald Trump. Hewitt recently reached new heights of propaganda with an article titled “How the Navy could be torpedoing Trump’s chances in 2020.” Hewitt unabashedly calls for the use of the Navy’s budget as pork barrel to help Trump’s re-election prospects in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

In our comments, IndieDems points out how this naked call to use the defense budget as Republican pork barrel is a perfect fit for the rest of the Trumpist agenda. We also seize the opportunity to again recognize Georgia Republican leaders support for that agenda:

IndieDems supposes a decision by the Trumpists to openly declare that the defense budget is just one big pork barrel bonanza was inevitable, given the fact that:

1) This is already the most corrupt administration in our history—and the more evidence that piles up establishing that fact, the more corruption Trump and his benighted followers commit. Without shame.

Senator Johnny Isakson
Based on his track record,
Isakson says: I don’t give a fig
about corruption. I intend to endorse
everything Trump has said or
done by avidly supporting his
re-election.

2) The Trumpists have sent the federal debt spiraling out of control, with not one iota of a plan to bring it under control

Senator David Perdue
Based on his track record,
Perdue says: Who cares about
deficits? I intend to endorse
everything Trump has said or
done by avidly supporting his
re-election.

3) The tax cut for the rich that was supposed to be the spark that ignited massive investment in our economic future has failed miserably to achieve its goal. Our corrupt corporate class has spent most of it on buying back their companies stocks, sending their stock prices upward and thereby enriching their own pockets. And even this con game seems to have run out of steam.

Rep. Barry Loudermilk
Based on his track record,
Loudermilk says: We need more
tax cuts for the rich! That’s why
I endorse everything Trump
has said or done and will avidly
support his re-election.

4) Most craven of all, Trump and the Republicans are now overtly espousing a racist, xenophobic, white nationalist, Islamaphobic agenda as the basis of their 2020 campaign strategy.

Sen. Isakson      Sen. Perdue             Rep. Loudermilk
Based on their track record, Georgia’s three stooges
say: racism, xenophobia, white nationalism, Islamaphobia?
Music to our ears! More than ever, we intend to support
Trump’s re-election.

All of this depredation presided over by a warped and twisted demagogue, a serial liar and adulterer, who lives In daily contempt of God’s 10 Commandments and Jesus’ Golden Rule. Someone who more and more mirror images Adolph Hitler in his capacity for evil.

So it’s not surprising that some little Trump lackey like Hugh Hewitt now openly tells us that Republicans view the defense budget as pork to bolster their election prospects.
